Fight your way through an apartment complex and piece together the fragmented memories of a crime you did not commit.

My favorite game I’ve helped make at The Game Assembly: a Third Person perspective horror game inspired by the Silent Hill 2 remake and Resident Evil.

I was responsible for creating a flexible and powerful visual scripting editor for the group, which can affect all aspects of our engine as well as game-specific elements. I worked closely with our Level Designers to ensure their needs for the editor were met, and that they could use visual scripting to improve the gameplay and create scripted events.

I also worked on the games audio. I created the in-game soundtrack and a large portion of the sound effects, expanding my knowledge of FMOD and the creation and implementation of immersive audio. This was done together with my colleague, Axel Franzén.

  • Visual Scripting Editor, which helped me further understand user needs and tool development

  • Audio and sound design, introducing me to FMOD and how to integrate music and SFX in a game

  • Improvements to enemy behaviors, animation logic and animation events
